ROLE SUMMARY

The Student Enrollment Officer will be responsible for managing and coordinating activities and resources associated with the student’s experience. You will be assigned to a Canadian school. 

KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare lists of expected students every intake and coordinate with the student recruitment team to provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage files submission to student portal.
  • Review uploaded to student portal files on a daily basis.
  • Maintain up to date individual student files and follow-up on incomplete documents.
  • Assist in the interim reviews of the student files.
  • Communicating with students regarding missing documents according to departmental timelines.
  • Manage shared Student Services inbox.
  • Ensure students receive efficient resolutions to their issues/ complaints in accordance with internal and external procedures.
  • Register and enroll new students using a student management system. Assist in the development and drafting of the Student Handbook to update changes in program information and any changes/ improvement in policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the progress test /mock exam schedule for each semester.
  • Actively involved in the invigilation of mock exams and their entire preparation. Scan and save all the marked answer scripts of students and assessment forms.
  • Issue student any relevant documents e.g. holiday requests, attendance letters, course transcripts, issuing student insurance, and student ID cards in a timely manner.
  • Manages the daily operations of the school’s student services and addresses all issues related to all stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Degree holder of any field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in administration and customer service
  • Experience in the education sector is desirable
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written, a second language will be considered an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Conduct themselves ethically, with high levels of accountability and integrity, demonstrates sound judgment and respect for the individuals in all interactions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer services skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

 

The post holder may be asked to undertake different or additional duties in line with business requirements at the request of their line manager.
